In a display of collective chemistry prowess, a team of chemistry undergraduates from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura secured the second runner-up position at the Inter-University Undergraduate Chemistry Quiz Competition organized by the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) Section E2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition comprised two rounds. The initial round, conducted via Zoom, was held on August 05th, 2023. Subsequently, the semi-final and final rounds unfolded on August 19th, 2023, at the SLAAS headquarters, Colombo 07. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They competed fiercely against the University of Colombo, University of Kelaniya, and the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon during the semi-final round.
