She received her M.Sc. in Industrial Mathematics from the same university in 2008.&nbsp; She joined the Measurement Units, Standards and Services Department (MUSSD) which is the National Metrology Institute of Sri Lanka, as a Sri Lanka Scientific Service Officer in 2006. Dr. Wijayasundara obtained her Ph.D. in Science of Measurement from the University of Science of Technology, Republic of Korea in 2018.
