Dr. Chithranie Wijayasundara graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2001 with an Honors degree in Physics. She received her M.Sc. in Industrial Mathematics from the same university in 2008.  She joined the Measurement Units, Standards and Services Department (MUSSD) which is the National Metrology Institute of Sri Lanka, as a Sri Lanka Scientific Service Officer in 2006. Dr. Wijayasundara obtained her Ph.D. in Science of Measurement from the University of Science of Technology, Republic of Korea in 2018. Her campus was the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS).  In 2021, she joined the Faculty of Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ) and since 2024 has joined the Department of Physics, Faculty of Applied Sciences, USJ as a senior lecturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
