The Department of Sports Science is delighted to announce the second International Conference on Sports Science and Management (iCSSM 2022/2023) under the theme ‘The Synergy of Sports and Quality of Life: Strategies for Achieving Excellence’. The main objective of this symposium is to provide a platform for SSM undergraduates to publish their research findings and improve research culture among students. iCSSM 2022/2023 will be followed by a round table discussion on ‘Sports Science Applications and Career Pathways’ with alumni members and an industrial forum themed ‘Sports Tourism’.
Dr Seevali Jayawickreme, Director General, Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Linda H Chung, Coordinator of Master’s in High Performance Sport: Strength and Conditioning at Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, Spain will deliver the keynote speech at the ICSSM 2022/2023.
This event is funded by the AHEAD ELTA-ELSE Development Project for DSS and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
