The competition consisted of tackling a big data problem sponsored by zone24x7 technologies (pvt) ltd. The competitors were faced with the challenge of analyzing a dataset of sales over an year and fitting a predictive model to prevent problems in retail where items are out of stock.\u00a0 The winning team members were J.C. Wanniarachchi, U. S. Samarasinghe, A.S. Fernando, H.A.
