A guest lecture on “Discovering New Particles” was conducted on June 22nd, 2016 at the Department of Physics, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Prof. Sally Seidel (Professor of Physics at the University of New Mexico-USA) conducted the lecture. Around 60 participants including academics and final year university students participated and at the end of the lecture, the speaker had a special discussion with the students regarding the graduate admission as well.
