Mechanical Workshop

The Department of Physics maintains a Mechanical Workshop (MW) that provides crucial technical and fabrication support for the academic and research activities. The MW supports undergraduate and postgraduate training, repairs and maintains laboratory equipment, and fabricates custom components for experimental setups. It also extends its services to other departments and faculties within the university. The facility houses a range of machinery, including lathe machines, milling and sawing machines, drilling equipment, welding facilities, and various precision tools.
