Overview

Mr. DSL Perera joined the Department of Sports Science on 2nd March 2022. He graduated in BSc Hons. in Sport Science and Management with a first class in year 2018. He was awarded Most Venerable Sri Sumangala Gold Medal for being the highest level of excellence in both academic and extra-curricular performance among the students who have secured the Highest-Grade Point Average (GPA) at the Bachelor of Science Degree Examination. Moreover, he was awarded Best Employability Skills Achiever (BESA) of the Faculty of Applied Sciences in year 2018.  Moreover, he has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Development at the University of Colombo.

Mr Perera served at the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education in the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka as a Lecturer Probationary before joining USJ.
