Dr. Rajitha Silva on “Knowledge First” TV programme.

Dr. Rajitha M. Silva is interested in working on “Sports Analytics”. Sports analytics have been a popular topic for statisticians in the recent years. One of the advantages in sports analytics is that researchers typically have good instincts. When processes are well understood, this facilitates the use of Bayesian inferences where subjective priors can be incorporated to the predictive model. Dr. Silva was invited by Rupavahini “Knowledge First” to introduce this new field of Statistics to the public.
