Dr. Chathuri Jayasinghe Senior Lecturer of the Department of Statistics, University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), served as a resource person at the workshop titled “Writing High-Quality Articles for Peer-Reviewed Science Journals”, organized by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The event took place on 30th October 2025 at the NSF Auditorium and was attended by 232 participants, with 80 joining in person and the remainder participating via Zoom.
The workshop brought together a distinguished panel of experts who shared guidance on the nuances of scientific publishing. Dr. Chathuri delivered a session emphasizing key statistical considerations that can enhance the quality, credibility, and impact of research articles.
Attendees included academics, researchers, and postgraduate students from universities and research institutions across the country, fostering a collaborative environment for learning and professional development.
