Welcome to the Zoology Museum

The Zoological Museum of the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura harbors more than 8,000 specimens of both Sri Lanka and exotic species preserved as, wet, dry skins and skeletons. The collections are preserved for zoological, natural, and evolutionary studies while extensively used for teaching and for research purposes.
