I feel privileged that I got the opportunity to receive my bachelor degree with B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Applied Sciences. As the first set of graduates from B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Applied Sciences, we earned integrity and professionalism through the degree which moulded us to “all-rounders”. Without doubt I could say that this degree is the best opportunity for science students who expect both knowledge and professional competence through one degree. Employers often comment that science students who want to work outside academia need more than strong scientific backgrounds. Graduate students, they say, should also seek skills in marketing, business and communication. Therefore B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Applied Sciences is one of the best choice to beat this demand and competitiveness. Personally, this degree programme has enriched my communal analytical skills and quick adaptability to professional environment which has led to enhance my professional growth especially in my career presently.
