RESERVATION 

  • The Dry Rubber Laboratory, situated within the Faculty of Applied Sciences (DRL-FAS) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJP), functions as a hub for research services, housing a diverse array of analytical equipment dedicated to scientific investigations. Oversight is provided by a team of proficient academic experts. Renowned as a leading academic research facility in Sri Lanka, the DRL-FAS extends its accessibility to the broader research community within and beyond USJP, welcoming participation from academic and industrial researchers alike.
  • An undergraduate or a graduate student at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, USJP who wishes to have access to instruments in the DRL-FAS should first obtain request from his or her research supervisor and then from the Lecturer-In-Charge (LIC) of the relevant instruments. The “Request  Form” could be obtained either by click on this link, Request Form, or from the DRL-FAS. Once you submit the Request Form, you must reserve the instrument time to perform your experiment. You can reserve a time using on-line reservation system. The Online registration can be done using this link. 
  • DRL-FAS use by academic or industrial researchers outside of USJP is dependent upon approval by the LIC, DRL-FAS. Please contact the  LIC for more information and to request access to the instruments.
  • Please contact us to arrange an appropriate hands-on training on the instruments in the DRL-FAS. This service is free only for the researchers in the USJP community.  We do not let certain instruments to be handled by undergraduate students under any circumstances.
