The B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Applied Sciences program at the Faculty of Applied Sciences proudly hosted an engaging workshop in collaboration with MAS, titled ‘Skills for Work 2024’. This inspiring session took place on the 8th of November at the faculty premises.

The workshop was conducted by the remarkable Ms. Bernadine Jayasinghe—an Entrepreneur, Lecturer, Award-winning News Anchor, President’s Award-winning TV Presenter, Corporate Trainer, and International Award-winning Speaker. Her dynamic session focused on enhancing presentation skills, equipping students with practical tools to communicate effectively, craft compelling stories, utilize body language, and connect with their audience with confidence. The session was both educational and enjoyable, with Ms. Jayasinghe’s expertise empowering participants to present their ideas clearly and effectively, whether in professional or personal settings.
