Department of Food Science & Technology (DFST), Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ) has been selected by the Curtin University, Australia to share traditional food technology knowledge with their undergraduate students in Food Science. Prof. Ranil Coorey from Curtin University has paid a visit on 04th December 2023 to the DFST along with two students. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Isuru Wijesekara, Coordinator of the program, Dr. Piumi Abeysundara, Head of the Department along with the academic staff. This study visit focusses on the traditional food technologies of Sri Lanka and development of novel functional food products.
