Course content:

Some fundamental ideas of Mechanics; Newtonian mechanics; Frames of references, Moment of inertia; Impulsive Forces; Lagrange’s equation with the influences of Impulsive forces; Euler equation for the rotation of a rigid body; Axial symmetric bodies and rotation of them about an axis; Idea of a Tensor, Tensor Algebra, Properties of Tensors, Moment of inertia Tensor and Stress Tensor.
