Introduction; Introduction of  mechanics; Newtonian mechanics; Systems of Coordinates; Frames of references, Statics; Forces; Moment and couples; Trusses and Frames; Tension, Shear and Bending moment, Dynamics; Translatory motion, Rotational motion and general motion; Moment of inertia of an object; Parallel axis theorem and perpendicular axis theorem ; Mechanics of a particle; Generalized coordinates, constraints and degrees of freedom; Virtual work and generalized force, Lagrangian equation; Lagrangian of a holonomic dynamical system; Derivation of the Lagrangian equation for a holonomic system; Conservative forces; Equilibrium configuration for conservative holonomic dynamical system, Hamiltonian Theory; Hamiltonian of a dynamical system; Canonical transformations and Generating functions; Hamiltonian equation of motion; Hamilton – Jacobi equation.
