The Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, announces and extends congratulations to its distinguished academic staff members who were conferred the President’s Awards for Scientific Research – 2025, organized by the National Research Council of Sri Lanka (NRC).
The award ceremony was held on 18th December 2025 at the Water’s Edge Hotel, Battaramulla, with the official support of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The President’s Awards for Scientific Research are presented annually to recognize outstanding scientific contributions by Sri Lankan researchers as evidenced by high-quality, peer-reviewed scientific publications.
At the 2025 award ceremony, awards were conferred on researchers whose scientific publications in 2021 demonstrated excellence and significant scholarly impact. The Faculty is pleased to recognize the following members of its academic staff who received the award:
